TWO DIFFERENT OPTIONS:

  1. Home visits

  2. Telehealth

With chaos comes innovation… In the context of the COVID19 pandemic and the social distancing recommended by the government to protect my patients and their family, I started to offer TELEHEALTH to keep helping everyone. I discovered a new way to treat my patients - where the parents become my hands. (See a video in French that explains why I love Telehealth almost more than in-person appointments!)

How does this work? «…what if I am not tech savvy»

    1. Schedule an appointment with me using the form in the CONTACT page .

    2. I will send you a link to our «treatment room», a virtual meeting using Zoom platform. You do not have to download the app if you are planning on using your laptop + webcam, but if you intend on using your smartphone and/or tablet, you must download the app.

    3. PLEASE, test the app at home BEFORE our session.

    4. Find a comfortable place at home, and have nearby: a mat (yoga mat or play mat, firm and anti-slip is better), toys, a chair. We will almost be together, separated by a screen! My therapy doll Leo and I will guide you through the exercises to do with YOUR child. YOU will be the therapist!

    5. Exercises can be recorded by yourself on your own device to better protect your personal data.

L’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) legislates and directs this type of consultation.

Telehealth is better for follow ups than assessments, it can not replace an in-person consultation.
